This works, kinda, in 3rd person mode, but completely sucks in cockpit mode. Instead of rolling the plane it banks 90 degrees and pulls the nose in that direction. Turns out that the recommended control scheme is some weird arcade thing. Next i get issues with that the plane doesn't do what I want it to do. It's important to me to manually map functions so I know what they do. It has 17 buttons on the stick alone and except for the b1 and b2 none are in a standard locations, as on cheaper sticks. Next I go into the settings and all I an find are keybindings for the keyboard.
As it assumes you only have one controller, a xbox style one at that and not a full HOTAS flight stick + rudder pedals. Since one axis is always fully 'up', the menu options went mad. It started of with having to unplug the rudder pedals I have. Intending to buy it anyway if I liked it, I downloaded it and installed it. I was 5 minutes away from doing so when I managed to aquire a "free" version. Total of 10 Emblems including Maverick, Hangman, Payback, Rooster, and Bob, along with two logos from the film.I recently saw this on Steam for the PC and as thinking about getting it.
